NASHVILLE PRIDE FESTIVAL, JUNE 23-24
Nashville Pride Festival, which is celebrating its 30th year in 2018, released an official app to increase attendees’ experience.
The app is available to download on Google Play and the Apple store. The app was used to announce the entertainment lineu, and allows users to explore the vendors, food offerings, festival activities, festival grounds
This year, the festival debuted its lineup via the app. The lineup includes Wilson Phillips, JoJo, Taylor Bennett, Chely Wright, Steve Grand and FLETCHER.
The festival returns to Public Square Park in Downtown Nashville on June 23 and 24. Last year’s event attracted more than 35,000 people to celebrate LGBT+ people and culture.
Daily passes are $5 for the general public. Weekend and VIP passes are on sale at nashvillepride.org. Focus Middle Tennessee is a proud sponsor of Nashville Pride.

Wilson Phillips: Best known for their 1990 hit “Hold On,” Wilson Phillips is made up of Carnie and Wendy Wilson (daughters of Brian Wilson of Beach Boys fame) and Chynna Phillips (daughter of John and Michelle Phillips of The Mamas & the Papas fame). JoJo: Born Joanna Levesque, JoJo had her first hit at the age of 13 with “Leave (Get Out)” in 2004. Chely Wright: A Nashville staple in the 1990s, Wright’s huge hit in 1999 was all over the radio: “Single White Female.” In May 2010, Wright was one of the first and few in country music to come out as a lesbian. Her most recent release is 2016’s “I Am the Rain.” chely.com
Steve Grand: Grand made a mark with his 2013 viral video country hit, “All-American Boy,” Grand, who is originally from Illinois, attended Belmont University in Nashville. He has a new album in the works, titled “Walking,” with a release date to be announced. stevegrand.com
