#boropride – Murfreesboro Pride: LGBT+ Community Unites in Murfreesboro

Murfreesboro’s 2nd Annual #boropride – Murfreesboro Pride was held Saturday, September 9th at 1 Public Square in Murfreesboro. Over 1500 people were in attendance, which is an increase from the 800 who attended last year’s festivities. This year’s event featured a pride walk around public square, vendors, community resource booths, food trucks, youth activities, live music, and a drag performance at the end of the evening. The event, which was free and open to the public, was organized by the Tennessee Equality Project Foundation’s Rutherford County Committee and hosted by Iona of Chameleon’s Lounge in Smyrna, TN.
